Celebrating 46 years in the community, Thrivalaska serves children, families and early childhood educators in the interior, northern and southeast regions of Alaska. Thrivalaska was founded in 1974 during the Trans Alaska oil pipeline. Thrivalaska is a community based non-profit organization committed to the delivery of high quality early care and learning services. Our core purpose is “helping children and families thrive.” Thrivalaska operates 4 major programs – Head Start Birth to Five, thread Resource & Referral, thread Child Care Assistance, and a School Age program at Pearl Creek Elementary School.
